If your receiving wallet requires a destination tag, it must be entered correctly. Failing to include it may result in your funds not being credited to your account.
Most centralized exchanges require a destination tag to identify your transactions and ensure they are credited properly. However, some wallets do not require one, which is why we’ve kept the destination tag field as optional.
Always double-check whether a destination tag is required before sending funds.
