If a destination tag is required by your receiving wallet, your funds will be lost should you fail to enter it. Most centralized exchanges require a destination tag in order to identify your transactions and credit your wallet.
However, we know that certain wallets providers do not require a destination tag, so we’ve kept the destination tag as optional for you to enter.
It is important to double-check that it is not required before sending funds without a destination tag.
