What should I do if my verification was declined?

Modified on Fri, 7 Mar at 8:58 PM

While it is rare for a verification request to be declined, it is possible if you are unable to sufficiently meet all of the verification requirements set by PDAX.

Here are some (not all) reasons why your account may be rejected:

  • Screen Captured - The ID you submitted appears to be taken from another device/screen. Please note that we only allow capture of hard copy IDs. If you submitted an ID that is screen captured, your application may be rejected.
  • Unclear Photo in ID - The photo in your ID is not visible or clear. One of the things we do is check your photo in the ID. If your photo in the ID is not clear, your submission may be rejected.
  • Invalid ID â€“ The ID you submitted is not included in our list of acceptable IDs. Please note that we have a list of IDs we consider to be valid. For the complete list of valid IDs, you may check out this article.
  • Blurry Document â€“ The details on your ID should be clear and readable.
  • Expired ID â€“ Please make sure that the ID you submitted is valid at the time of your application.
  • Blurry Selfie – Please ensure that your facial features are clearly visible.

To learn more about the reason for rejection, please check your inbox (and your spam/junk folder, just in case) for an email outlining the exact issue with your account.

Here are some tips to keep in mind on your next submission:

  1. Make sure to submit a valid ID and make sure you can capture it live and not from a screen.
  2. While taking a photo, make sure that all the sides of your ID are within frame and all the details are clear and readable.
  3. Take a clear selfie of yourself.
