What is the account protection period?

To keep your assets safe, a 24-hour account protection period is automatically applied whenever a major security setting is changed (such as your password, email, or two-factor authentication [2FA] settings).

This means your withdrawals and trading of digital collectibles will be paused at this time. This security measure helps prevent unauthorized access, such as a malicious actor attempting to change your credentials to lock you out. It gives you a crucial period to detect suspicious activity and take action before any funds can be moved.
