Limit orders may be canceled for the following reasons:
-
Due to a price band update
-
Due to a system maintenance
The cancelation may be announced or unannounced. In case your outstanding trade orders are canceled, please place them again should you wish to proceed.
Price Band Update
When the price band is updated, the maximum and minimum price limits you can set for an asset are adjusted.
As a result, outstanding limit orders with set prices that do not fall within the range of the updated price band are canceled.
Example: XYZ set a limit order to buy XRP at PHP 100. While that order is pending, the price band was adjusted to PHP 80 as the maximum price (ceiling price) you can set to buy the said asset. Therefore, your limit order to buy XRP at PHP 100 will be canceled.
Please keep in mind that price bands are adjusted dynamically; hence, they may change based on recent market movements without prior notice.
System Maintenance
We conduct regular system maintenance to ensure that everything functions as it should.
As a result, outstanding orders may be canceled or retained once the maintenance is completed.
Kindly make sure to check our email advisories to stay updated with our upcoming system maintenance schedules.
