Easier Treasury Bills Orders
Starting BILL11, orders for treasury bills will now mean that the entire order will be invested into the particular bill if fully allocated. This means the amount you enter in your order is exactly how much you will invest. For example, if you order PHP 100.00 worth of treasury bills with a 2% p.a. indicative rate:
(1) You’ll pay at the time you placed the order: PHP 100.00 (order amount)
(2) You’ll receive at the awarding day: tokens representing T-Bills with a face value of PHP PHP 102.00 (settlement amount is PHP 100.00)
(3) You’ll receive at the maturity date: PHP 102.00 (face value) which will be credited to your PDAX wallet
This is a change from the previous process where if you ordered PHP 100.00 worth of treasury
bills with a 2% p.a. indicative rate:
(1)You’ll pay at the time you placed the order: PHP 100.00 (order amount)
(2) You’ll receive at the awarding day: tokens representing T-Bills with a face value of PHP 100.00 (even if the settlement amount is PHP 98.5)
(3) You’ll receive at the maturity date: PHP 100.00 (face value) + PHP 1.50 (difference between your order and the settlement amount) which will be credited to your PDAX wallet
