1. What is biometrics login?
Biometrics login is a secure authentication method that uses unique physical or behavioral characteristics of an individual to verify their identity. This feature employs biometric data such as fingerprints, facial recognition, or voice patterns for user authentication.
2. How does biometrics login work?
Biometric login captures and analyzes specific biometric traits unique to each individual. When a user attempts to log in, the system compares the captured biometric data with the stored template to authenticate the user.
3. What types of biometrics are used for login?
Biometrics used for login include fingerprints and facial recognition.
4. Why should I choose to log in using my biometrics instead of my password?
Logging in using your biometrics is generally considered more secure than logging in using your password. Biometric data is unique to each individual, making it difficult for unauthorized users to gain access.
5. What if I don’t have biometric login enabled on my device?
Once you try to enable biometric login on your PDAX account for the first time, a prompt will appear to help you set up biometrics for your device if you haven’t done so already.
6. How do I enable biometric login for my PDAX account?
On the homepage, tap on the account button on the upper left corner of the screen then go to Settings. From there, tap on Security and then go to biometric login to enable or disable the feature.
7. Can I use biometric login on multiple devices?
No. If you try to log-in to your PDAX account with a new device, the app will ask for your password even if you’ve enabled biometric login on your original device.
