When sending and receiving crypto, destination tags and crypto networks are crucial information that must be included in your transaction details.
What is a destination tag?
A destination tag in crypto is like a personalized code or identifier you include when sending cryptocurrency to a centralized exchange. It ensures that your funds are sent to the correct recipient and guarantees accurate transactions on the blockchain. Examples of cryptocurrencies that require a destination tag are XRP and XLM.
How do I find the destination tag in the PDAX app?
- Log in to your PDAX app.
- Tap “wallet” and choose “my portfolio”
- Choose an asset from your wallet and tap “deposit”
- A QR code will be displayed along with your destination tag and network.
Check the crypto’s network
When receiving crypto, double-check if the network matches your source. In the case of sending crypto, the destination should also be identical to the network. It’s essential to confirm the network you’re sending to or receiving from.
Here are the cryptocurrencies with their respective networks supported by PDAX. For more information on how PDAX supports other networks for stablecoins, click here.
